South Essex College Motor Vehicle Department and their students have been identified as the best place to raise awareness of dangers when working in paint spray body shops and the hazards associated with isocyanate paints.

The College agreed to meet with professional representatives outside the College who have set up a project ‘Learning Occupational Health by Experiencing Risks (LOcHER)’ which includes the HM Principal Inspector of Health and Safety from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

The College Students along with their tutor (Clive Langworthy) were asked to design awareness posters, below are their final designs that have been accepted by the LOcHER Project and highly praised by the HSE for their inspirational designs.

The College really needs your help to take a few minutes to view the posters, post comment and ask your friends to do the same. These posters will be part of a national campaign so your feedback on this exciting project will be greatly appreciated to both the College and the students involved.
